We are GEM, a group of teens fighting for our planet. Our name stands for Generation Earth Movement, but it also represents three facets of our identity.

We are Generators. We create words, images, and designs to communicate the beauty of our planet and our intent to preserve it.

We are Elevators. We believe that increasing knowledge elevates perspective and inspires change. Our goal is to make environmental knowledge accessible to everyone!

We are Motivators. We use our collective voices, enthusiasm, and passion to create meaningful motion and action for our planet.

Savannah:

Hi! I'm Savannah, thank you for visiting GEM! I am an artist, sister, poet, friend, and an athlete. I love animals and spending time outside, I drink too much coffee, and have an irrational fear of worms. For me, GEM means protecting, creating, collaborating, reflecting, and inspiring.

Logan:

Hey! I'm Logan, the Instagram manager for GEM. I have always been passionate about the environment, and I love getting to use writing, research, and design to make a difference. Outside of GEM, I love all things music, listening to podcasts, and going on walks. As a teenager in a world where it is hard for kids to make a difference, it means so much to me to get to work with my GEM family to create real change.

Abram:

Hi everyone! My name is Abram. I am very passionate about a lot of things and I am very excited to be a part of this movement and to make a difference. I love to listen and make music, rock climb, read, and be creative. I have an interest in what you might call abnormal sports that I view as interesting. I also love the Ocean and the water as well as forests and mountains. I feel very connected to nature and I could not imagine what would happen if we did not have that.

Niko:

Hi! My name is Niko and I live in Georgia (the country). I love to be outside, create things with legos, draw and go on adventures. I am very passionate about the environment and am very happy to be working on GEM with the rest of the GEM members. I hope to see you soon!
